    Mr. Keogh cures swollen glands with oil prepared by himself.
    The juice of boiled primroses mixed with new milk & taken every morning fasting is supposed to be a cure for jaundice.
    To cure St Anthony's Fire get a person whose family name is Cahill to drop some of his or her blood on the rash - it will disappear in a few days. Danny Cahill, Courtnellan has cured many a sufferer of this painful rash.
    To stop Bleeding put a cobweb on the cut.
    To stop a Bleeding nose slip a cold key down the back.
    To cure a Whitloe plunge the sore into boiling potato-water.
    To cure a Stye prod it three times on three successive days with a gooseberry thorn in the name of the "Father, son & Holy Ghost".
    To cure External Cancer apply a poultice made up of petals of the dandelion boiled & mixed with quick silver.
    Many poultices have to be applied before the ugly growth yields to treatment. Another cure applied is an ointment composed of Eggs - dandelion leaves.
