    bridge spanning the Bleach river, and another field path. It is principally used by the people of Scorth when walking to and from mass.
    There is also an old pathway leading from Scorth to Cloneygoose graveyard, it consists of a path through fields and a plank across the Bleach river. This by-road is called "The mass Path" because, in Penal days, the down-trodden Catholics quietly wended their way along it to mass in the old Chapel in Cloneygoose.
    The people from Brook Lodge on their way to Borris, cross the Mt. river by means of stepping-stones and they drive their animals through the water.
    Coady's Lane is a very short cut from Newtown to Kilcoltrim whilst the "Old Yard" shortens the road to Borris for the Kilcoltrim people.
    There is an old road in Kilgreany called "Timber Gap" and along it in by gone days the stage-coach travelled.
