    On the Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul, bonfires are kindled at the Cross roads in this locality.
    On Michaelmas Day mutton pasties are made and eaten.
    On Christmas Day the following customs are observed: the lighting of the Christmas Candle; the eating of plum pudding; the decorating of the home with holly, ivy and mistletoe and the sending of Christmas Cards.
