- The Picket Room.
There is a room at the south end of Myshall called the picket room. Why it is called this place is because in olden times men of the district were put on spikes there for to give information in about the year of 98. Those spikes were driven through the feet of the men. At our district side of this place is the Croppy Road, Why is it called the Croppy Road is because in that time the men and women wore their hair long, and the English made them cut it bear That is the reason why it is called the Croppy Road.- Collector
