  1. There is a place beside where my mother was reared in Rathanna that was always considered haunted. At that time a family named Nolans lived there.
    My mothers father told her a story that happened many years ago. When he was a boy. A boy of the Nolans named Michael asked him to call him one morning to go to a fair in Enniscorthy. My grandfather called him and it was dark at the time. Mike asked him to sit at the fire while he would be washing his face and he took out a towel to a spout.
