- (continued from previous page)and from that day to the present one Keppels live in the house.
- Patrick Hanlon who lived in the townland of Bawnóg and Parish of Rathoe, on a farm near the property of James Hughes, was a Priest Hunter and afterwards became a Yeoman. Any place he knew a Priest was in hiding he would tell, but never found any in this district. He would also shoot any Catholic he would find. His house was at a place called Bawnóg. It was said that the name of a Hanlon would never remain in the house. There is only the ruins there now, it was neglected, and a Hanlon never lived there since, and Hanlon of Grangeford and Kinsella of Rathrush were Priest Hunters also.
