- In the year 1912, there was a great storm. It was in the month of January. All the tres in Burton Hall, and Knocknacree were blown down. The roads were blocked with trees, and no one could travell. There were many houses knocked down in Knocknacree. On that night there was fierce rain, and it went in to some peoples houses, and all the rivers, and roads were flooded next morning
