- (continued from previous page)to the four corners. Each set of four sticks was put over one another according to their length, and so the crib was made. A very weak twig would be placed under the raised end of the crib. The bird hopped on this twig, and the crib fell down, catching the bird.
- Girls gather together a lot of daisies, and break off the shanks. They get a needle and thread, and put the heads of the daisies on the thread. When they have them all on they tie the ends of the thread together to make a chain
