  1. An old woman belonging to this Townsland told a story of Will o' the Wisp. She said that she saw him every night for a whole week and on Saturday night her husband died suddenly. She sent a neighbour to inform his brother and that the lights drew him astray and that he did not reach his destination for over three days. When the brother came the funeral was over and he told the widow that Will o' the Wisp never led his family right.
