    with his death. He said that when Strahan parted with him he was thrown by his horse, his hat stuck down over his face, and he lay stunned but conscious and unable to move. while in this position a man passed by, looked at him and saying; "A wise man never found a dead man", went his way, leaving the priest to die. He told hi brother the name of the man who passed him by and ordered him to go to Wicklow and tell the story to the authorities. The brother did as he was told, the man was summoned as a witness and Strahan was acquited.
