    Continued.
    The children and lads of the town dress up, and put on masks. They go out to the country, and go from house to house playing games
    They get a tub of water and put apples into the tub, and they try to catch it in, the apples in their mouths. They also tie an apple to a string and tie it to a ceiling, they try to catch the apple in their mouths.
    They also go around with mouth organs singing and dancing.
    The people give them barm brack and colcannon and tea. In this district there is custom to observe the night of 1st November the same way as Hallow E'en.
    The boys put on old clothes to disguise themselves and also "fiddle faces" which they buy in the shops. They go to the houses in the town and country, where they are likely to get pennies and entertainment. They make Hallow Eve a
