    other lovely things there.
The little girl of my story had a wholesome fear of the road so she said "wait till I ask Mother".
She ran quickly into the house crying out "O Mother A- B- is outside and she is in a lovely place and wants me to go with her and see it."
Her mother held her tightly by the hand and went out to the other children. She asked the staring wondering ones what was going on and was told that A- B- had gone down the road and path to the Fairies Fort and would [not?] stay any longer.
The farmer's wife on more than one occasion when sitting outside on a Summer's evening up to 10 o'clock listening for her husband's cart coming from town would hear talking and laughing, horses prancing and their bits jangling in the fairy fort.
