    I never heard of wooden ploughs being used. When he is putting his potatoes in pits he digs a big hole in the ground, and he puts the potatoes in it, then he covers them with clay and with the stalks of them.
    Potatoes were used long ago instead of starch, their skin was taken off, and they were boiled until they were broken up into pieces, and then there would be more water put on them and boiled again until the water would be thick.
