We have a cat but he is seldom at home, he spends most of his time in Mr. Fisher's shop. The reason is that there is plenty of rats and mice for him to catch.
His name is "Tom". The reason we called him "Tom" is because he is a tom-cat.
He is a great mouse and rat catcher and is also able to catch birds.
