The "Sparrow Road" is so called because lond ago there were a lot of mud houses with thatched roofs situated beside the "Sarrow Road" long ago and when they became ruins large numbers of sparrows freguented them and built their nests in them.
The Church Road" is so called because the Protestant Church is situated beside it and it connects Dunlavin with the larger towns of South Kildare. There are no monuments along any of these roads that I know of.- Collector
