    When Wild-Geese fly north it is a sign of fine weather and if they fly south it is a sign of snow
    Seagulls come inland when there is going to be a storm
    When a lot of Golden Plover fly south there is going to be a snowstorm
    When there is going to be a snowstorm little robins come in,
    Cattle and horses turn their backs to hedges when there is going to be a rainstorm
    Mice and rats come in when there is going to be snow.
    Lime falls off walls when there is going to be a very dry Spring and Summer,
    When cats scratch the legs of a table it is a sign of wind
    A crimson sky in the evening denotes frost.
