(1) A person with a sty on his or her eye, it is said that to cure it he or she should get a gooseberry thorn and make the sign of the cross on the sty with it.Wart
(2) A person with a wart it is said they should get water that has been used by a blacksmith to cool the red hot irons or if the warts are on the hand to wash them in this water and say a Hail Mary while doing so.Earache
(3) A cure for earache a person should get a few drops of Olive oil and put some into the ear.Headache
