- There are two churchyards in our parish, one is called Glendalough churchyard and the other is called Derrylossary churchyard. Catholics at one time owned Derrylossary churchyard but now the Protestants own it, there are people buried in both of them still.
Neither of the churchyards is round, Glendalough churchyard is oblong and it slopes downwards to the river. Derrylossary churchyard is square.
There are the ruins of two churches in Glendalough churchyard, there are the ruins of the Cathedral and Saint Kevins Kitchen. But there is a church in Derrylossary churchyard and Protestants go to it still.
