  1. Potatoes are grown on the farm. The farmers sow about two or three acres of potatoes. Sometimes if there was a bad crop of potatoes they would sow less potatoes the next year and if there was a good crop they would sow more potatoes the following year.
    The ground is manured before it is ploughed. Some men put bedding out of the cowhouse and others buy artificial manure. The farmer has men working for him
