- There are several customs associated with wedding which are fast dying out at the present day. When a bride and groom were going to get married they usually walked to the Church accompanied by a musicianer, who played merry tunes as they went along. The bride and groom danced at each cross road they came to. When going to the church the bride and groom would not like to meet a red haired woman, it was said they would have bad luck if they met one. The wedding was usually held in the bride's house but sometimes the groom had the wedding at his home.
