    With sharpened spear in every hand,
    They pierced the Saviour's body through
    From heart to hand his blood did flow.
    His mournful mother was standing by,
    With a sore heart and a heavy sigh:
    Whoever can manage this prayer to say,
    Three times by night and three times by day,
    Will never die in mortal sin
