    dinner finished the rest of the guests got dinner. About ten o clock a band of boys dressed in straw which they called straw-men came to the the house. Before they depart the captain calls three cheers for the bride and groom.
    Then the groom treated them or give them money.
    The wedding was generally over about six o'clock in the morning and the bride and groom went to their new home.
