A gooseberry thorn & rub it to the affected eye three times, making the sign of the cross each time. This "ceremony" to be repeated for nine mornings.
8. Warts on Body or Limbs.
Different ritual adopted by people supposed to have the cure
Nine straws of the rush - each wart to be touched by the finger of the person having the cure. Then, with each rush the sign of the cross is made three times, on the wart - the person (having cure) repeating some prayer. This is performed on Monday - Thursday - Monday & during nine mornings or days, the patient must say some small prayer each day.
