This name is given to a small field in Mr Tom Reilly's land. It is so called because it is shaped like a purse.

This is only a hollow in whins, where the sun seems to set facing every May day. It is so called because it was owned by a man named Mr Patrick Burns. It is situated now on the land of the late Mr Stephen Burns, Drumbo.
