    Another game is to hang a string from the ceiling and place an apple at the end of it, the childrens hands are tied behind their backs and they try to catch in in their mouths. A barn-brack is bought or made and there is a ring in the cake, whoever gets the ring is supposed to be the first married in the family.
    On Christmas Eve the people leave a Christmas candle lit in a window all the night long on that night the children leave their stockings hanging at the fire, and in the morning the children find toys in them. On Christmas day the people have a great feast of meat goose or turkey. The children spend the day playing with their toys.
