- We have great roads in the country around us. The best of these roads, is the broad road, which leads from Enniskillen to Dublin. It is a lovely tarred road, on it runs all sorts of motors, and vehicles. It is called a first class road. The second class roads, are not so wide, but are rough, with sheets of gravel. These roads, are locally known, the Stradone road, which leads from Ballyjamesduff, to Stradone. The bog road leads from Ballyjamesduff to the Stradone road. The next important road to the broad road, is the road leading from Ballyjamesduff to the New Inns. There is a road leading from Ballyjamesduff to Cavan, it is called the Cavan road.
