    They told him he needn't fear about that and the leader called for a buachallan for Brian. Then at the leader's command each got astride a buachallan and off they went galloping over the country at great speed. It seemed a long time to Brian before they reached the wedding house, but they got there eventually and stopped for a consultation before going in.
    "Who'll steal the Bride" says the leader
    "Who would steal her but Brian mc Sherry" say all the rest in chorus. He tried to object but the fairies wouldn't listen to him and told him he would have to do it. Before going into the house, Brian was warned to speak no word of any kind until his work was done.
    So in they went on the chimney and took up their position in the roof just above a table at which the wedding party was seated eating and drinking and enjoying themselves. Most of the party were intoxicated.
    Now the plan the fairies had for stealing the Bride was this.
