- There is a fort situated in the townland of Derries Upper and about two miles from the main road. The owner of it is John McCahill. There are fourteen trees round it. It is thirty yards long and fifteen yds wide.

- There is a fort situated in Castlehamilton. It is forty six yards from the avenue and eighty yards in circumference. It is flat from the top down for thirteen yards and then for eight yards.Got from:-Austin Carley
- There is a fairy fort in the town of Killeshandra. It is about half a mile from the town on Mrs. Gipson's land. There is a tunnell through it.
