    When I got it I sat down to look for it,

    What is that we see,
    The King seldom sees it

    Hitty Hatty on the wall,

    But Hitty Hatty never was the same.
    What is in a house,
    With the two ends of it in,
    And the middle of it out.
    What was up the chimney down,
    And would not go down the chimney up.
