    When it came to the time for the groom to put on the ring he had forgotten same; and as he lived convenient to the church the bridal party stood at the Communion rails until the ring was brought.
    When it came to the time for the groom to produce the licence he handed in a licence for a collie dog.
    The bridal party had to remain in the vestry until the proper licence was procured.
