    the intended assault on the chapel. However wiser counsels prevailed and bowing to superior forces they decided postponing the burning and dispersed quietly to their homes. The Catholics seeing them scattering, fired a volley of the muskets, the shots of which, though the distance is 2 miles, quenched the fires of their foes. The postponed attack however never came off and peace and harmony have since reigned among all creeds.
