- To Cure Botts in horses No 28
Get some broom, cut up into 1/2 inch lengths Make a bran mash three times a day for the animal and give a couple of handfuls of cut broom in it. After a few days, just give one meal per day, till animal is cured - Get a piece of copper wire, an inch or two long and cut a hole in the calfs dewlap and insert the wire.Cure for Blackleg, No. 30
Cut the animals dewlap and insert a clove of garlic.
Cure for ringworm in cattle No. 31.
Rub the sore a couple of times a day with black polish till it is cured.
Cure for sore feet in cattle and sheep No. 32.
Bathe the feet a couple of times a day with a solution of bluestone.
Cure for gapes in Fowl. No. 33.
Shut them up in a box and steam them with lime.
To remove Gapes. No. 34.
