    there is no trace of their castle on the moat of Castlerahan but over one hundred years ago men who were sent to plant trees on it by the O'Reilly's descendants could trace the foundation of it and a crow-bar was lost by sliding down through the earth to what was supposed to be an underground passage.
    This place has long since become the centre of attraction and tourists from all over Ireland visit the sight of this old castle. It is locally believed that great treasures lie buried in the caves connected with it.
