old bridge. I cannot tell what year it was built. There are some few paths or by-ways in the school district; one path leads from the school southwards through Barconey to Dungimmon.
Another one, a short distance up the road, leads to Castlerahan R.C. Church and is about three quarters of a mile long.
There are small streams in this district but no river. The nearest river flows through Clonkeefy. It flows on through Barconey to the Curragh, that lies between Castlerahan and Mt. Prospect, to Kilnacrott through Mt. Nugent till enters Lough Sheelin. Its waters turned a mill wheel at Clonkeefy to grind corn into meal. This mill has not been in use in years. probably one hundred.
The cross-roads at Dungimmon is known as Plunkett's cross-roads
