  1. People who have the power to cure diseases canonly do it on Monday and Thurssday. Some people believe that Tuesda and Saturday are unlucky and they nevr begin to put in their potatoes or sow oats on those days.
    Anyone who sows oats before St. Patrick's day is said to be unlucky beacuse St. Patrick is said to put a curse on the ground. The crows come and pick up all the grain after it is sown.
