This well never was known to go dry, after that a drop of water never was seen in it. The lights were never seen again. - In a place known as the Carraig in Polmalady there was a bar of gold hidden. One day when a man was rising gravel at the foot of the Carraig he saw the bar of gold but he was unable to touch it. He went for another man and when they came back the hole was closed over, they started to dig again but they could not get the gold.
