    the marrage cermonies are over and when the bride comes out from the Church the people shake rice over her. Often when the car with the bride and groom is leaving off from the Church an old boot or a horse shoe is tied after the (car) it, unknown to either of the pair.
    May and November are said to be unlucky months to get married.
    On a wedding day there would be a number of horse-men at the bride's house, they would start on a race for the Church, and after the wedd-ing return to the groom's house. The horse man who got there first got a bottle of whiskey as a prise.
