    Brady. There are three thatched houses and six slated ones.
    Lismeen got its name from the fort. There are two people over seventy living in Lismeen. The people do not know Irish. They can tell no stories either in Irish or English. The houses were more numerous long ago than they are now. There are a few houses in ruins, Some people have emigrated from Lismeen in former years. Lismeen is not mentioned in any song or saying. The land is fairly hilly and it is also good. There is no wood in Lismeen, There is a river dividing Kilmore from Lismeen and there are no lakes or streams.
