Strawboys generally visit most country houses where there is a wedding. They are covered entirely in straw so that they will not be recognised. On arrival at the house they would let a cheer for the Bride and groom and then they would get some money and strong drink. Then they would go away giving a cheer for the Bride and Bridegroom.
