    flying low it is the sign of rain. When the cat sits with her back to the fire it is the sign of a storm.
    When the dog eats grass it is the sign of rain. When the animals go up high on the hills it is a sign of good weather, and when they come home it is a sign of bad weather.
    When the sky is a red colour, there will be a storm. When the hills look near it is a sign of rain, and when they look far away it is a sign of a spell of good weather. When the dust is blowing about on the road it is said to be an omen of rain. When the lakes rool and change colour it is a sign of a storm. When the water in the lake turns black it is the sign of thunder. When the dog lies under the table it is the sign of thunder.
