The yellow hammer builds in a hedge also. Some of the wrens build in the bottom of a hedge. Others build in an old house or in an old shed. Others build in a rick of turf in a bog, and others build in the eaves of houses. The finch builds in an old apple bush or in a high hedge.
   The blackbird builds a very nice nest in a hedge. She builds her nest with moss. She lays about five eggs. The thrush builds a big round nest with moss and some clay inside it. She lays five eggs and she sits on the eggs three weeks. The swallow is a very nice bird and she builds in the same place every year. She builds a very nice nest. She nearly always builds in a house. She builds a nest of clay
