  1. A Ghost Story in Granadaragh
There is a story told about a boy, long ago in this county in the town land of Granadaragh, who was drunk for a week day and night, and one night the house caught fire and he and the house were burned and his spirit used to come back in the form of a big black hound and he cam back in the form of a dog to get someone to lift the load of sin off his heart and one night a man met the dog on the road and did not know that it was the spirit of the man and followed the black hound on the path from the road to the old walls of the house and the hound was never seen again, but no person would go near the old walls after that and there were lights and cries around the walls night afterwards.
