    put them in the stable and when he went to the stable again he found five fairy men at the manger.
    There was a sea-calf supposed to live in Lough-a-Cannor and one evening three men were out on the lake fishing and they struck the calf and killed it. This calf was supposed to be the size of a calf about a month old.
    About five years ago there was a calf at my home which could not walk and whenever it was touched it would go "head-over-heels" for the length of a field.
    Long ago there was a calf at Owen Collins's in Bindoo which had two heads and one was a pig's head and the other was a calf's.
    Any sea-animals in this district only appeared at night
