    When we all got notes from Mourne to appear before the crown
    The day being very hot poor Mary she'd got weak
    Sure Mourne brought hers down to Drake's
    And gave her a feed of stake.

    They told us tey'd transport us but we said they'd have a job

    Mary got up on the bench but of course her nerves broke down
    She varied on her evidence and so she was hunted like a clown
