For to sing the praises of a bold hero
Who has been lately banished from his country
'Twas by false swearing they sent him sailing.
Far from his friends he loved so dear.
He bid them Adieu and his course pursued
Unto New Australia for seven years.

His name to mention is my intention
In these which there pen down.
Pat McIntyre for fame and valour.
I'm told his equal could not be found.
With kind behaviour he did endeavour.
To gain respect from his country round,
Till Flood the traitor being void of Nature.
He swore the papers with him he found
