    There is an annual fair held on the fourth of May in Tullyvin every year. It is regarded as the best fair of the season as it is the beginning of the growth, and all Meath graziers stock their lands with young cattle, at that time of the year
    Travellers or as they are locally called "Tramps" visited the district long ago, and continue to do so. Some of them have a donkey and cart; but the majority of them carry their little articles on their backs in sacks. Pins, needles, combs, brushes, tins, dishes, delph, and mirrors are generally what they have with them, and they will exchange these for measures of farm produce, and they go home in the evening with a fine load of eatables.
