  1. We have three cows, three calves, two pigs and two cats. The cows have not got names. When calling the cows I say (che! che! che!) and when calling the calves I say (sook! sook! sook!)
    There is a place for four cows in one half of the cowhouse which is called the byre. The cows are tied to stakes by means of chains and the stakes are fastened in the floor. A rope is put on the cows head when bringing her to the fair, this is called haltering. Blessed palm is hung in the byre after Palm Sunday. Some people make the sign of the cross on cows before
