   In the wet of the farm there is a group of fields as "Cartan".
   In former times there was a school called cartan in an adjoining field
   It was from this school this group of fields got its name.
   The little black field is so called because it is of a boggy nature and the clay is black.
   This field is west from the dwelling house
   A group of four fields are known as the Bovine fields
   They are so called because the cattle are usually kept there at night in summer time.
   Another large field to the west of the farm is known as the Limekiln field.
