    In the townland oof Lisnagoon. This was where the Glas Gaibhleann grazed every one in the district came to her to get milk. Each year she went away for a while and returned with a calf. She used to complain to the people of what she would do when the time of "The small fields and the narrow ridges" would come. A woman came one day who milked her into a riddle till. "The Green" ran with milk to the cows knees. She ran away then and brought her calves with her towards the sea. A blacksmith followed her, and as she was going in to the sea, he struck her with a rod of enchantment and turned her into stone. There was until recently and probably is yet a flat flagstone on "The green" with
