    churning. It happened at the house of Paddy a Golla beside the school. Paddy Brady was his right name but he is long since dead Paddy told Mrd O Reilly that the butter was taken off the churn and was very definite about it.
    One morning before sunrise he got up and saw a hare among the cows. He fired a shot at it and only wounded the animal. It ran away in the direction of Kill and afterwards it was traced to a family of Gibsons in Kill. There Mrs Gibson was found in bed with a sore leg.
